The Connections Meetings series launched in December 2015 and was held at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Lisbon and the Conrad Algarve in 2015 whilst the second edition was in Malaga in 2016. Mice suppliers are just 30 to 40 of the most relevant and hand-picked meeting supplier brands. Connections will welcome national, regional and city destinations (Convention Bureaus), hotels, DMC’s, and event services. Mice buyers represent a wide variety of Meetings buyers from all over the world, which 70% of them are corporate and incentive meeting planners and 30% of them are International Association meeting planners.
Meetings buyers are all international and represent large corporate companies, eager to book their next international board meeting, global sales kick-offs and or incentive trips. Meeting buyers are also interested in working closely with destinations and supporting conventions and exhibitions. All Meetings buyers will be focused on doing business in the Meetings sector.
